Samsung's New Ladies Phone: SGH-T700

Samsung Drama T700This year's ITU Telecom Asia 2002 event has also seen Samsung unveiling its latest ladies phone, the SGH-T700 (SGH-T708 for chinese markets). Known as the Samsung "Drama" T700, this handset carries a unique design that is very much suited for the female user, resembling that of a cosmetic case. Like Samsung's "Egeo" A400, the SGH-T700 also includes a calorie meter and other useful features. To further enrich the user's experience, the T700 comes with a UFB LCD screen with over 65000 colors and 40-chord polyphonic ringtones. However the T700 seems to have overlooked some needs of the user, having fallen short with some must-have features like GPRS and MMS support.

The SGH-T700/T708 is expected to be released into markets in the 1st quarter of 2003.
