Today Sony Ericsson unveiled its newest Bluetooth headset, the 7th the popular line of devices. The new HBH-35 is a replacement for the popular HBH-30 and improves upon the device by getting a power boost. The new HBH-35 weighs the same as the older model, 28g, but sports up to 5 hours of talk time and 5 days of standby time - easily better than anything currently on the market, if their claims hold true.

Sony Ericsson also claims that the new model will have improved sound quality over that of the HBH-30. The headset will be compatible with Bluetooth devices supporting the Headset or Handsfree profiles.

No information was given regarding availability dates.

Some specifications of the new headset:

  • Length: 107 mm
  • Weight: 28g
  • Talktime: up to 5 hours
  • Standby Time: up to 125 hours
  • Bluetooth v1.1
  • Supports the Bluetooth Headset and Handsfree profiles
